Entering a space that will host your vision can be a daunting experience. Whether it be communicating with disengaged staff, learning how to use new equipment, or simply not understanding the rules of a studio, an uncomfortable experience can turn a beautiful idea to a poorly executed project.Building a comfortable environment for creators is a key priority at Chil Studios. Our event and studio space welcomes everyone, regardless of skill or experience, from the moment they inquire about the booking process. We offer each potential client a complementary walkthrough of our space before any bookings are scheduled. This allows guests to imagine the possibilities of their work as well as ask about any accommodations and upgrades that can be made. We also use our walkthroughs as an opportunity to get an understanding of our clients’ vision so we can be prepared to offer the right kind of support when needed.Despite being in a warehouse style building, Chil Studios has an at home feel the moment you walk through the door. Upon arrival, guests are greeted by studio hosts and are offered assistance and access to Chil Studios’ premium Spotify account and surround sound speakers. Natural light illuminates the white walls and the stage while the rest of the space is sectioned off into different areas that include a sitting area, dressing rooms, and even a kitchen. Renters and their guests have options to purchase snacks or drinks if they feel hungry or thirsty during their booking. Additionally, a complementary cart full of a few essential items is provided for each booking to help keep their creative process as seamless as possible.Our Studio Hosts overlook each booking from the upstairs loft that is restricted for employees only. This setup allows for every booking to feel in control of their own creative environment while our studio hosts remain ready to help or offer rental upgrades when needed.
Booking Highlights
Hope and Wade
From September 3rd to September 7th of 2020, Chil Studios hosted Hope and Wade King for their 5-day, live, virtual teaching conference. Our team worked directly with Chase Mayo, Director of Events for Hope and Wade King, to make the multi-day shoot a success. Accommodations were already in discussion after the initial walkthrough as we decided to hire an electrician to make the breaker box labels more legible for the shoot. After further discussion with Mr. Mayo about the event, our team understood that the conference needed a stronger internet connection to ensure that the live virtual event would operate uninterrupted. We upgraded our studio Wi-Fi in order to make sure the connection was strong and fast enough. Chase Mayo wanted to secure the quality of his event and upgraded his rental to include our premium equipment.Our team considered the standing Covid-19 pandemic and wanted to make sure that everyone involved remained safe and healthy. Masks and social distancing was implemented in the studio and allowed up to 5 members of the Hope and Wade King staff in our studio at a time. This multi-day shoot started off with a day of pre-recording tapes for the virtual event followed by another day of set-up and prelight. The next 2 days of the live, virtual conference consisted of streaming prerecorded tapes and live recordings for those in attendance, virtually. The last day of the booking, our team helped with breakdown and cleanup to minimize any additional costs against Hope and Wade.

Sushi Pop-up
On January 20th, 2020, Chil Studios was used to host a sushi tasting dinner where guests RSVP’d to indulge in an omakase experience. Our team met the challenge of turning the studio into a place where people felt as if they were dining in an actual restaurant. We collaborated with our client to come up with the best accommodations for their live event. The stage was utilized for the main recordings of the show. The spotlight from the stage helped dimly light the rest of the studio to create an intimate setting. The in studio kitchen added more depth to the tone of the event and provided the sushi chef (get name) a space to work.
Zoe’s Birthday
The open layout makes Chil Studios the perfect place to host birthday celebrations and other party events. On January 3rd, 2020, Chil Studios hosted a 35th birthday party for a returning customer, Zoe. Zoe frequently uses our studio for her production needs but took advantage of our studio’s wide, homey space for her birthday party venue. Zoe reached out to us and we worked with her ideas, her party planner, and her budget to help her put on one of the largest events hosted at Chil Studios. Balloons and decorations filled the stage and the added décor around the studio helped bring Zoe’s vision to life. We worked with multiple vendor partnerships to help provide food and drinks while our surround sound system added a house party feel to our studio. Our studio hosts remained in the loft, allowing every party goer the space to feel comfortable and relaxed as they enjoyed themselves.
Royal X Rae
Royal and Rae are Atlanta based, brother and sister photographers that regularly use our studio. The duo found Chil Studios through peerspace and were initially impressed by our unique customer service, but continue to use our studio as needed because of our pricing and accommodations. Royal and Rae specialize in portrait photography and our open, solid white space allows them all the creative freedom to make stunning work.
Lauren Elyce
Lauren Elyce is a social media influencer who specializes in self-portrait photography. Our minimalist aesthetic compliments her brand while our clean studio and homey atmosphere helps her remain comfortable enough to take photos of herself. She found the attentiveness of our studio hosts useful as they assisted her in whatever she needed.To Close
